Your employer cosigns: "this person works the bar here." Baristas are verified by café owners. Shops are verified by business registration. Vendors are verified by the cafés using their gear.

Can I buy or fake a Trust score? +

No. There is no purchase option, no boost, and no follower-count gaming. Every input — verifications, cups, reviews, peer cosigns — is anchored to a real person or business that signed off in writing. We audit weekly and revoke at the first whiff.

What happens if I leave my shop? +

Your tenure and cups stay yours. The verification badge from that shop becomes "Past employer". New shop, new active badge. Score is portable, not lockable.

How are visit-gated reviews enforced? +

Reviews only unlock after a check-in via QR at the bar, geolocation, or order receipt. Drive-by ratings from across the world do not count. Bots get nowhere.

I am a customer — do I have a Trust score? +

Yes, a smaller one. Customers earn Trust from check-ins, cuppings attended, and the helpfulness of their reviews. It mostly matters when you leave reviews — shops can see whose feedback to weigh.

Can a vendor or roastery build Trust? +

Yes. Vendors earn Trust from the cafés that actually use their gear — verified install and active use. You cannot buy that.

Is the algorithm open? +

The five pillars and weights are public — what you read above is the entire system. We do not publish the exact anti-fraud signals because we update those constantly.
